Consistency and Dosing are Key When it comes to CBD!

Does CBD work the same for everyone?

The question has been asked so many times. Is CBD going to work the same for everyone? The answer is no, each individual person is different starting with their body size (structure) and on to the internal chemical integrity within their body and many more reasons like how deficient the Endocannabinoid System may be in your body.

We are all different in many ways. Some of us have genetics that predispose us to unusual health conditions and some of us develop health conditions because of our lifestyles.

Did you know depending on the body’s dependency on medications (over the counter or prescription) our bodies can create barriers to the receptors that are activated by CBD for some of us?

Depending on how deficient your Endocannabinoid System is can also play a role in how CBD will work for you.

There are many reasons as to why CBD doesn’t work the same for everyone.

Finding the right dosage of CBD for yourself and being consistent with that dosage is the key.

YSC has been working with CBD and terpenes for years and we have successfully helped countless individuals with finding the right CBD and dosage for them.

An honest look at how CBD works in the body

Cannabidiol, better known today as CBD is a non-psychoactive cannabinoid that comes from the cannabis plant.

We have what is known as the Endocannabinoid System in our bodies. Endo meaning within and cannabinoids are compounds found in the body as well as in the cannabis plant.

The ECS has receptors, enzymes and endocannabinoids. Those receptors play a very intricate role in regulating every biological function in our bodies. Endocannabinoids complete the ECS by binding to the receptors. Enzymes help to break down endocannabinoids.

Endocannabinoids such as CBD will activate those receptors to do what those receptors were designed to do naturally. CBD works on the molecular pathways in our body.

Receptors regulate gene expression and mitochondrial activity within our bodies. Enzymes will break down the endocannabinoids when they have completed their function.

Sometimes our ECS will become deficient and not function properly. That is where CBD can help.

CBD from plants can activate those receptors in the ECS the same as the endocannabinoids do.

YSC strongly believes that reaching and maintaining homeostasis (Internal Balance) in the ECS is an important key factor to CBD working properly for you and being healthy naturally.

Here is another secret as to what can make CBD work better for you

In the years that YSC has been working with CBD and Terpenes, we have seen some amazing results.  “OH did your eyes perk up” when you saw the word Terpenes?

Terpenes are plant compounds. Terpenes are basically essential oils that give off certain aromas and a taste, in fact terpenes are found in all plants.

Terpenes will distinguish the strain on the plants, and act as a defense to its natural predators.

Terpenes have been well documented to have very beneficial health qualities to them and they can induce a synergy to the body when combining them with cannabinoids.

Terpenes are counterparts to cannabinoids and can help in the Entourage Effect. Terpenes can magnify the effects of cannabinoids.

Did you know that Myrcene will allow the body to absorb more cannabinoids, and that Beta Caryophyllene is known to directly bind to CB2 receptors? That is just two of the many terpenes we have available to us.

I could go on about terpenes. Fenchol, a Pinene, Geranyl Acetate, Valencene, Cadinen, a Cedrene, B Pine, Citral, Citronellol, Humulene, Guaiene, a Bisabolol, Dextro Carvone, Carvacrol, Para-Cymene, Borneol, Thymol, Camphor, Limonene, Linalool, a Phellandrene, Menthol, Eucalyptol, Terpineol, Phytol, Dextro Fenchone, Caryophyllene Acetate, Nerolidol, Caryophyllene Oxide, Farnesene, y Terpinene, Terpinolene, Delta 3 Carene, Pulegone, Nerol, Geraniol, Ocimene, Eugenol, and Guaiol are more terpenes.

Think of terpenes as a booster if you will. Assistance to something that already has great qualities sounds awesome to me especially when it is natural.

Terpenes should be respected more so than they are today. The Asian cultures have been using terpenes for centuries in their medicines for their medicinal qualities.

YSC is a pioneer in the art of infusing terpenes into CBD in the Branson area. We have been working with CBD since 2012. We understand how important terpenes are to the Entourage Effect with CBD.

Again, reaching and maintaining Homeostasis (Internal Balance) is an important key factor to CBD working well for you.

Homeostasis is truly important to us all

Internal balance is the most used term to describe Homeostasis. Our bodies need to maintain a stability within to function at an optimal level.

In other words we must be able to regulate our internal environment to process energy and survive so we may thrive.

So if our body temperature rises or falls our body reacts by sweating or shivering. Should we be in a Homeostasis state our bodies can rebound from the temperature change in a natural way.

The human body will regulate internal concentrations of sodium, calcium, potassium, oxygen, sugar levels and so much more.

Our bodies have the ability to self regulate when we are in Homeostasis. This includes blood pressure, body temperature, and respiration.

Homeostasis includes a stimulus that detects the changes, then receptors are what detects those changes. The control center is where the changes are analyzed and the correct response is determined. The effector is where a response is generated to counter the stimulus. The feedback mechanism regulates the response that has been chosen.

Homeostasis is absolutely a unifying principle of biology and very necessary for us.

Without maintaining Homeostasis we could fall to illness and diseases or even death.
